Today Mark spoke in support of the motion to recognise Palliative Care Week.
GREENS MOTION: Free public transport for Seniors
Mark moved a motion calling on the State Government to extend free public transport to seniors to include all weekday services as well as weekends and public holidays.
GREENS MOTION: World Heritage listing for Great Australian Bight
Mark today moved a motion calling on the SA State Government to work with the Federal Government to seek listing under the World Heritage Convention of the waters, seabed and coastline of the Great Australian Bight, as a matter of urgency.
SPEECH: MP's disrespectful behaviour
Today Mark spoke about standards of appropriate behaviour of Members of Parliament in their dealings with each other and with the community, and why Parliament should become White Ribbon workplace accredited.
BILL: Carly's Law - creating offences for dishonest communication with children
Today Mark spoke in support of legislation to make it illegal for a person to engage in dishonest communication with children. The Bill was passed that evening, with the support of entire Legislative Council.
QUESTION: Simplify Bills
During Question Time today, Mark asked the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council, about the Government's plans to introduce "Simplify" Bills.
