QUESTION: Financial incentives to SA communities to accept a nuclear waste dump

During Question Time today, Mark asked the Treasurer a question about financial incentives being offered to SA communities to be a home to a national waste dump.

QUESTION: SA State Records handed over to Mormons

During Question Time, Mark asked the Leader of the Government representing the Attorney-General about data held about South Australians by State Records of South Australia being handed over to "FamilySearch" who are a genealogy organisation operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, more commonly known as the Mormons. 

MOTION: Palliative Care Week

Today Mark spoke in support of the motion to recognise Palliative Care Week.

GREENS MOTION: Free public transport for Seniors

Mark moved a motion calling on the State Government to extend free public transport to seniors to include all weekday services as well as weekends and public holidays.

GREENS MOTION: World Heritage listing for Great Australian Bight

Mark today moved a motion calling on the SA State Government to work with the Federal Government to seek listing under the World Heritage Convention of the waters, seabed and coastline of the Great Australian Bight, as a matter of urgency.

Today Mark spoke about standards of appropriate behaviour of Members of Parliament in their dealings with each other and with the community, and why Parliament should become White Ribbon workplace accredited.
