BILL: Pension entitlements of the Director Of Public Prosecutions

Mark outlined the Greens' support for the incoming Director of Public Prosecutions, Justice Martin Hinton, to maintain his existing entitlements. 

GREENS MOTION: Disallowance of exemption regulations under the Advance Care Directives Act

Mark moved a motion that regulations under the Advance Care Directives Act 2013 concerning exemption, made on 11 July 2019, be disallowed. 

GREENS BILL: Public say on private developments in National Parks

Today Mark introduced a Greens' Private Members Bill to ensure that any proposed private developments in National Parks are subject to full public notification, representation and appeal rights and that planning authorities take any approved Management Plan into account when assessing these developments. 

QUESTION: Commitment to use of renewable energy under privatised train and tram service delivery

During Question Time, Mark asked the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, representing the Minister for Transport, whether the commitment to power our tram and train network by 100 per cent renewable energy under the Carbon Neutral Adelaide Action Plan will be maintained under a privatised or outsourced model of service delivery.

QUESTION: National Alcohol Strategy

During Question Time, Mark asked the Minister for Health and Wellbeing whether South Australia has already signed off on the the draft National Alcohol Strategy or whether the Minister is insisting that the strategy be redrafted to better reflect public health priorities.
