During Question Time today, Mark asked the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council, about the Government's plans to introduce "Simplify" Bills.

GREENS BILL: Stop automatic pay rise for MPs

Today Mark introduced his Greens' Bill to prevent SA State MPs from receiving automatic payrises whenever Federal MPs get a pay increase. Instead, the Greens Bill provides that state MPs' pay be set by the state Remuneration Tribunal.

QUESTION: Saving the Mount Gambier roundhouse

During Question Time Mark asked the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, representing the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government, to prevent the demolition of the Mount Gambier roundhouse in order to gauge community support for a rescue operation that would to enable the restoration and repurposing of the roundhouse for public purposes.

During Question Time Mark asked the Minister for Industrial Relations about flexibility for teachers when returning to work after domestic violence leave.

QUESTION: Funding for Murray-Darling Basin Plan

During Question Time, Mark asked the Treasurer about cuts to programs and staff relating to the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.

GREENS BILL: 10 year moratorium on fracking in the South-East

Mark today introduced his Greens' Bill for a 10 year moratorium on fracking in the south-east of South Australia.
